As the wheel of the year turns towards Fall, golden leaves adorn the trees, and the crispness in the air brings promise of the colder days to come. The next few weeks hold similar golden promise as the hills of our valley, with a bevy of events sure to engage mind, body and spirit here at 400 Robinson.

We’ve been BUSY! Here’s a quick look at the next few weeks, with even more tucked into the schedule, like Wednesday’s Equity Speaker Series: Building a More Disability-Inclusive Workforce and The Longevity Project Maintaining Mobility, Balance, And Athleticism Throughout Life the first week of October.

No plans this weekend? Tonight, the neoclassical wunderkind BLKBOK has an incredible performance promised, and come spend your Saturday night laughing here with multi-talented Comedian Billy Wayne Davis

  • Friday 9/29 TACAW TURNS TWO Celebrate TACAW style! Eddie Roberts & the Lucky Strokes with show opener Dragondeer are bringing a night of simply sensational funk, blues and rock & roll! Do we sound excited? We are!
  • Friday 10/6 Bombino The legendary master of Tuareg Desert Blues comes to our valley for this powerful performance. Fused with the rhythm of the Saharan experience and the spirit of bluesy rock, Bombino wields the Tuareg weapon of Peace: a guitar.
  • Saturday 10/7 Pumpkin Jazz is back! This heavily local gathering of Jazz cats is not to be missed and offers our community a free chance to celebrate this amazing genre of music. You can find the full list of planned events here. Be there or be square.
  • Friday 10/13 Death of the Pugilist will trod the boards and fill our stage with a unique performance that is free-spirited, expressive and transformative. Drawing from the musical elements of contrapuntal Bach, minimalistic Philip Glass, blues and Irish folk music, the production creates an experience of story and music that is deeply moving and truly unique. A fitting way to spend Friday the 13th!
  • Thursday 11/2 Chris Pureka straddles the Folk, Americana and Indie Rock genres with bold vulnerability, and powerful lyricism. Chris’s elegant emotionality as a vocalist has garnered them favorable comparisons to Chan Marshall, Bruce Springsteen and Patty Griffin. Snag your ticket soon.
  • Friday 11/3 Sister Hazel have never stopped touring or recording since their first breakout adult alternative hit All for You. With over 25 years together, these finely-tuned musicians have amassed a prolific catalog of original music ranging from Rock to Folk, Americana and even a little Country. Recently at the Grand Ole Opry, their show is sure to be a fantastic time. Grab your ticket here.

Always keep your eye on the TACAW Calendar, as shows and events are frequently added, and sometimes without warning! (Leftover Salmon tickets go on sale today!)
