Support Arts & Culture This #GivingTuesday
Dear Friends of TACAW, On this #GivingTuesday, support the work of TACAW by donating or getting tickets to an upcoming performance. At our nonprofit, we strive to create a connected, engaged, and inspired community with every show we put on. Whether it’s a field trip to TACAW by students for a bilingual show, a hilarious comedy act, or music that makes you get up on your feet, our events have a real impact on our community. Did you know that arts participation in a community leads to increased civic engagement and volunteering along with higher levels of voting? Students who take part in the arts are three times more likely to participate in student government and win awards for academic achievement. The arts also create significant economic benefits through spillover spending from events and job creation. Heck, we’ve got seven full-time staff here at TACAW and nearly 20 part-timers. Our programming is more than just a good time, it’s making a tangible difference in the Roaring Fork Valley by bringing all of these benefits to our community. So, how can you help TACAW? Easy. If you can, donate today. Remember, no amount is too small, and no amount is too big! If you can’t donate, participate. Take a look at the list of shows below and come see something. We have free shows like tonight’s Equity Speaker Series and next week’s Immigrant Voices, along with ticketed shows that your donations help keep accessible (I’m particularly excited about Dance Flamenco this Saturday). This #GivingTuesday, get inspired to support all that TACAW has to offer. This is the place where arts, culture, and ideas take center stage, and we need you to be a part of it. See you at TACAW soon! Ryan Honey TACAW Executive Director |
