ABOUT WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE

Wednesday Night Live – a collaboration with the Basalt Chamber of Commerce and The Town of Basalt. Wednesday Night Live features buskers (street performers) ranging from musicians, poets, comedians, magicians, circus performers, theater artists, kids performers, and other curious acts from around Colorado. Each night features simultaneous performances from 5 pm to 8 pm in Willits and Downtown Basalt. Wednesday Night Live runs weekly through August 11. 

Many businesses will stay open late for the event. The event is free to the public, but direct contributions to individual street performers are welcome. Come be a part of it!

• Triangle Park – ARTery – CORE and Women’s Voices: Intergenerational women’s voices, led by classical violinist MinTze Wu, weave together Bach, Ballads, and Ballet to share powerful stories inspired by climate change.
• Market St – Near Wienerstub – Feeding Giants.
• Whole Foods Park – Kyle Jones

DOWNTOWN BASALT

• Jalisco – Miguel Avena – Miguel Avina is the lead singer and guitarist for iZCALLi. This is an acoustic exploration and a journey inward to find the essence of what makes his soul vibrate: connecting with people through his lyrics and musical aura.
• Alpine Bank (outside area) – Eric Halborg – Eric is the lead singer of Colorado’s own Dragondeer.
• Butch’s Lobster Shack – Homestead Circus – Roaming/Interactive physical entertainment.
• Heathers Savory Pies and Tapas Bar – Jeff Andrews Band.
