ABOUT Finance Camp

A proper understanding of basic financial concepts is critical to thriving in modern day life. We live in a financially interconnected society that demands an understanding of the assets we may acquire through our hard work, as well as the liabilities we may assume by our consumer desires. This workshop will establish a baseline understanding of U.S. financial markets and tools that will empower teens to make informed financial decisions.

This two hour workshop is open to all Roaring Fork Valley teens interested in investing. Parents are encouraged to come as well. Key concepts taught during the inaugural summer finance program will be summarized by Ron Speaker along with students who participated in the camp.
