COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS

Collaboration is a core value of TACAW and we enjoy numerous partnerships with institutions, nonprofits, and schools to bring high-impact programming to the Roaring Fork Valley.  Partners to date include:

CULINARY ARTS & DINING

TACAW has partnered with Julia and Allen Domingos of Epicure to add a dynamic selection of culinary arts programming to the TACAW lineup. Our events, such as Supper Clubs, Dinner and a Show, as well as special programs and rental opportunities, offer guests a fresh, ever-changing menu featuring Colorado ingredients prepared in TACAW’s all-electric, sustainably-powered kitchen.

EDUCATION

The arts are essential to a well-rounded education. Giving students the opportunity to participate in the arts helps them to stay in school, succeed in school, and set the stage for an informed and productive life. The Arts Campus at Willits is committed to being a place where arts engagement thrives through:

  • After-school and weekend performing and cinematic arts programs
  • Consistent exposure to working artists and arts professionals
  • Workshops with teaching artists about arts careers
  • Mentorship and internship programs

CAPTAIN POW!: A CLIMATE CHANGE CHALLENGE

Captain POW! is an original kids’ show that pits Captain POW, champion of the environment, against Pollutron, a Co2 spewing consumer with no regard for the earth. The exciting show inspires kids ages K-8 to get engaged in environmental stewardship with a combination of wits, humor, and action. The 45-minute performance can be staged at schools, libraries, community centers or other gathering spaces.
