A showcase of the country side of The Grateful Dead. Featuring a curation of songs performed from 1972 to 1977 that showcased the Dead’s interest in bringing golden era country and blues into set lists that have held up as one of the most legendary runs of all time. Performed by members of Extra Gold, a mainstay in the Colorado country music scene. Extra Gold has performed this unique blend of Grateful Dead selected country covers, traditional blues, and Dead standards in the past sharing the stage with Peter Rowen, another country/bluegrass icon and Old & In The Way member alongside Jerry Garcia.
