ABOUT A Wild Ride: Celebrating 60 Years of the Wilderness Act

Join Wilderness Workshop for “A Wild Ride”, a storytelling event held in celebration of the 60th anniversary of The Wilderness Act. Through the voices of our community, these stories will explore different perspectives on and connections to wilderness, as we celebrate, reckon with, and reflect together on the past 60 years of the wilderness movement, while looking forward to the next 60. This event is produced in partnership with Alya Howe at Writ Large Live Storytelling.

Featuring stories by:

  • Zoë Rom
  • Bill Kight
  • Trina Ortega
  • Sloan Shoemaker
  • Natalie Spears
