ABOUT WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE

Wednesday Night Live – a collaboration with the Basalt Chamber of Commerce and The Town of Basalt. Wednesday Night Live features buskers (street performers) ranging from musicians, poets, comedians, magicians, circus performers, theater artists, kids performers, and other curious acts from around Colorado. Each night features simultaneous performances from 5 pm to 8 pm in Willits and Downtown Basalt. Wednesday Night Live runs weekly through August 11. 

Many businesses will stay open late for the event. The event is free to the public, but direct contributions to individual street performers are welcome. Come be a part of it!

WILLITS

• TACAW – ARTery – CoMotion (Carbondale dance group) and Eric Baumheier (percussionist) showcase group and solo dance numbers accompanied by various percussion styles.
• Triangle Park – Eric Halborg – Eric is the lead singer of Colorado’s own Dragondeer.
• Triangle Park – Duncan Shaw amazes with his mastery of close-up magic.
• Market St – Near Weinerstub – Jet Rig and Bill Parish.

DOWNTOWN BASALT

• Free Range Kitchen –  MKJ Music – With a contemporary twist on your favorite Jazz and Brazilian classics, Argentinian vocalist Josefina Mendez and multi-instrumentalist Mark Johnson will delight music lovers of all ages.
• Heathers – Damian Smith.
• Alpine Bank (outside area) – David Poulson – Elements Jazz Trio.
• Butch’s Lobster Shack – Homestead Circus – Roaming/Interactive physical entertainment.
