DESCRIPTION:AN EVENING WITH \n\n\n\nCORB LUND \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSHOW @ 8:00PM // DOORS @ 7:00PM \n\n\n\n$22 MEMBERS | $25 IN ADVANCE | $35 DAY OF \n\n\n\nAt TACAW // STANDING ROOM \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT AN EVENING WITH CORB LUND \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGenre: Country \n\n\n\nLet’s join our friend from The Temporary\, Corb Lund\, as he takes the TACAW stage for an evening of Country music. \n\n\n\nCorb Lund has received multiple CCMA\, Juno\, and international award nominations and wins. A rural Albertan hailing from the foothills of the Rocky Mountains with a long family lineage of ranchers and rodeo people\, Lund is about as authentic as they come. Embracing both his Western heritage and his indie rock past through his music\, Lund has been known to filter a range of cowboy themes past and present through his unique lens-from rough-and-tumble tales of lawless frontier saloons to the somber realities of running a modern family ranch. \n\n\n\nLund released his highly anticipated album Agricultural Tragic via New West Records on June 26th\, 2020\, his first album of original songs in five years\, to much acclaim; the album debut inside the top 5 in both the US and Canada. It was named #7 on the No Depression Readers’“50 Favorite Roots Music Albums of 2020” with the publication saying\, “Eloquent and plain spoken\, the excellent Agricultural Tragic finds the affable country rocker exploring his roots as a rancher and rodeo rider while striving to adapt this traditional identity to the challenging modern world… Corb Lund radiates authenticity from first note to last. “The Associated Press said” The result is a distinctive sound—call it Country & Northwestern—that romances the region from which Lund hails\,” American Songwriter stated\, “The songs on Agricultural Tragic sparkle with a kind of authenticity that only someone who lives that life can project” while Saving Country Music said it was “…some of the most compelling country and western music you can find. ”Stay tuned for more music imminently on the horizon for Lund. \n\n\n\nLearn more about Corb Lund: Website\, Facebook\, Instagram\, Twitter\, Youtube or Spotify. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVIEW CALENDAR\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDETAILS \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors open @ 7:00pm // Show @ 8:00pm\n\n\n\nStanding Show\n\n\n\nLocation: TACAW\, 400 Robinson St\, Basalt\, CO 81621\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPresented By: TACAW

SUMMARY: The Samples
DESCRIPTION:THE SAMPLES\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSHOW @ 8:00PM // DOORS @ 7:00PM \n\n\n\n$25 MEMBERS // $28 ADVANCE // $38 DAY OF \n\n\n\nAt TACAW // STANDING ROOM \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE SAMPLES \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGenre: Rock \n\n\n\nSean Kelly & The Samples \n\n\n\nThe Samples are more than a band – they represent a culture of fans and music that go beyond who happens to be playing in the band at any given time. There have been many members of The Samples\, but Sean Kelly has been the consistent factor throughout all of the changes. \n\n\n\n33 years after starting his full-fledged music career with The Samples\, Sean Kelly continues to delight fans with music that transcends genres\, age and shatters the rules of the established music industry. Throughout his career\, Sean has been the driving influence of 20 albums and over 1 million records sold. \n\n\n\nSean started playing guitar at age 16 listening to Neil Young\, Rolling Stones and Jackson Browne. Those influences mixed with his own poignant and timeless lyrics\, a unique and striking voice and a mind for melodies led to songs like Little Silver Ring\, Feel Us Shaking and Wild River. For many fans\, these aren’t new songs or old songs\, but anthems to their lives that represent the first time they met their wife or the joys of their times at college. \n\n\n\nSean’s journeys across America have taken place in rental cars\, tour buses and pickup trucks that would have literally taken him to the moon and back over the last quarter of a century. There is a lot of music in store in 2022 and beyond from Sean Kelly and The Samples. \n\n\n\nLearn more about The Samples:  Facebook\, Instagram or Spotify. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVIEW CALENDAR\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDETAILS \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors open @ 7:00pm // Show @ 8:00pm\n\n\n\nStanding Room Show\n\n\n\nLocation: TACAW\, 400 Robinson St\, Basalt\, CO 81621\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPresented By: TACAW

Even though her voice lessons were Italian Opera\, her passion and practice was jazz. At the age of 18 she was the youngest person to perform with the Argentine National Jazz Orchestra. She moved to the U.S. 21 years ago and for the last 13 years she has been performing in the Roaring Fork Valley. The music performed by Josefina combines rhythms\, melodies\, and different performance traditions that surpass the boundaries between language and culture. \n\n\n\nWalter Gorra – Piano \n\n\n\nWalter Gorra is an award-winning pianist\, composer and arranger based out of the New York/New Jersey metro area. Currently 28 years old\, Walter graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder Magna Cum Laude and High Honors in May 2017 with the following three degrees – MS Structural engineering\, BM Jazz Piano and BS Civil Engineering. In Walter’s own words “music is a way to express oneself in a way that is often more powerful than words. Through my compositions and my playing I can describe people\, places and experiences in the best way that I can. My debut album\, ‘In Due Time\,’ is really a snapshot of many of the events and people that have influenced me as a musician and as a person.” \n\n\n\nIn 2015\, Walter was one of 30 young artists selected by KUVO during their 30th Anniversary year\, as part of their “30 Under 30” campaign given them the spotlight and opportunity to have their audience become acquainted with them and their music. In February of 2015\, Walter received a grant from the Boettcher Foundation to present and play with NEA Jazz Master Paquito D’Rivera in a master class and concert. The group\, “The Walter Gorra Septet” played with Paquito D’Rivera at the KUVO radio studios in Denver\, at the University of Colorado Boulder during a masterclass\, and at the Mount Vernon Country Club in Denver. \n\n\n\n Gonzalo Teppa – Bass \n\n\n\n2 time Latin Grammy Nominee for “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album” and “Best Latin Jazz Album”\, for work on the recordings “Tiempo” by Linda Briceño; and “3rd Element” by Luisito Quintero. \n\n\n\nNamed “Best Jazz Soloist” by Downbeat Magazine in 2004\, 2005\, and 2006. \n\n\n\nReceived “Best Jazz Soloist” award at the Greeley Jazz Festival in 2004 and 2005. \n\n\n\nPerformed with: Wynton Marsalis\, Jeff “Tain” Watts\, Matt Wilson\, Ed Simon\, Chris Potter\, Tom Harrell\, Ron Miles\, Art Lande\, Slide Hampton\, Don Byron\, Jeremy Pelt\, Ben Goldberg\, and others. \n\n\n\nAlejandro Castaño – Drums \n\n\n\nAlejandro Castaño is an active performer and educator in the United States and abroad.
