Recorded with co-producers Greg Holden and Tim Bluhm\, the collection is as diverse and enthralling as the California landscape itself—at times carefree and breezy\, at times wild and rugged—with lush\, organic arrangements full of rich vocal harmonies and driving guitar\, fiddle\, banjo\, mandolin\, and upright bass. While the record marks the group’s first release with newest member Addie Levy\, the result is quintessential Brothers Comatose: a warm\, joyful reflection on identity and the ties that bind from a band that knows exactly who they are (and exactly where they come from). \n\n\n\nFounded by Ben and Alex Morrison in 2008\, The Brothers Comatose first emerged from San Francisco with their 2010 debut\, Songs From The Stoop\, which helped earn dates with the likes of Gillian Welch & David Rawlings\, Greensky Bluegrass\, and Trampled By Turtles. In the decade-and-a-half that followed\, the critically acclaimed quintet would go on to release five more full-length LPs\, rack up nearly 50 million streams\, land festival slots at Outside Lands\, High Sierra\, and Hardly Strictly Bluegrass\, tour with Lake Street Dive\, The Devil Makes Three\, and Yonder Mountain String Band\, and build up a devoted following thanks to their raucous live shows and relentless schedule. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT NATALIE SPEARS\n\n\n\nWEBSITE / YOUTUBE / INSTAGRAM / SPOTIFY \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIt’s the quiet awe of wild places that most animates Natalie Spears’ music. Outside her home in Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley\, she listens to the language of birds\, notices patterns of migration and sees the cosmos in the countryside. For Spears\, the natural world offers a constant invitation to open the aperture of life to something wider\, something wilder. Her most recent album\, “ Hymn of Wild Things\,” chronicles her experience of wonder\, loss and metamorphosis. This is a collection of songs about the intimate corners of humanity\, hers and ours alike.  \n\n\n\nSpears grew up in a home brimming with music. Her dad would sit at the piano playing Chopin\, singing rugby songs\, scatting Louis Armstrong ballads and reciting whimsical folk songs from his childhood days in Britain’s East Midlands. Spears started on piano and by fifth grade was lugging an upright bass to school\, followed by saxophone and drums. When she moved to Colorado in her early twenties\, Spears discovered clawhammer banjo from a co-worker while building straw-bale houses. Old-time Appalachian music is a communal activity\, a perfect match for the tight-knit\, community spirit of mountain town living. She added banjo to her quiver of instruments and started writing songs.   \n\n\n\nThe title track is an autumnal evensong honoring the Sandhill Cranes that migrate through her home in the rocky mountains. The track is grounded by a hypnotic pulse created by sampling and manipulating field recordings of early morning cranes that Spears collected at a reservoir near her home. “Orchard of Dreams\,” is a journey-song about transforming eternal self-doubt into fruits of hope. “Risk It All” is a flirtatious 1930’s jazz-inspired number about a Louisiana dance floor romance featuring piano\, bass\, drums and a trumpet section\, all recorded in New Orleans.  \n\n\n\nThe album is anchored by a song cycle about the loss of her father\, which she sings with clarity and tenderness. “He Still Knows” is a reckoning with the onset of her dad’s Alzheimers. Spears writes about his world becoming a gossamer collage and the disorientation that comes with memory loss. With swirling reverse guitar hooks\, the production captures the feeling of time bending and life feeling upended. Similarly\, “How Far” was written during a later wave of grief\, a post-loss ode to all the irrational things you would do to make someone you love come back to life. “To Know The Dark\,” sets a Wendell Berry poem to music\, a song she has long sung in community. It’s a piece about holding hands with both darkness and light\, a candlelight at the end of a triptych of grief songs. \n\n\n\nThe album was produced and recorded by Juno-winning musician Jayme Stone who also plays guitar\, synthesizer\, samples and programmed drums on the album. There are cameos by Christine Bougie (Bahamas)\, Pat Keen (Humbird)\, Andriu Yanovsky (The Rumble)\, Kevin Matthews (Gasoline Lollipops) and Eric Wiggs (Jake Leg).   \n\n\n\nSpears is best-known for her work with fiddling singer Lizzy Plotkin. The duo’s album\, “Just Over the Ridge\,” was one of Folk Alliance’s top ten charting albums of the year and made number seven on Billboard’s bluegrass album chart. Spears has played the John Hartford Memorial Festival\, Blackpot Festival\, Palisade Roots Festival\, Chautauqua Community House\, Crested Butte Performing Arts Center and the Wheeler Opera House. When she’s not touring\, Spears can be found writing songs with veterans\, creating the space and trust for them to tell their stories and process their trauma through music. Alongside teaching\, working with veterans is one of the ways she practices reciprocity—sharing the gift of music that has given her so much. Hymn of Wild Things threads opposites together: love with loss; tradition with innovation; and the human experience with a more-than-human world. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTICKETS\n\n\n\nVIEW CALENDAR\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDETAILS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSHOW @ 8:00 pm / DOORS @ 7:00 pm\n\n\n\nSTANDING ROOM SHOW / 18+ VALID PHOTO ID REQUIRED\n\n\n\nALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL\n\n\n\nLimit of 6 tickets per purchaser\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPresented By: The Arts Campus At Willits

SUMMARY:Brett Dennen - Lift Series 2026
DESCRIPTION:Brett Dennen – Lift Series 2026\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSHOW @ 8:00 PM / DOORS @ 7:00 PM \n\n\n\n$35 MEMBER / $40 ADVANCE / $50 DAY OF \n\n\n\nSEATED SHOW / 18+ VALID PHOTO ID REQUIRED \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nALL TICKET SALES ARE FINALLimit of 4 tickets per purchaser \n\n\n\nUNDERWRITTEN BY \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT BRETT DENNEN – LIFT SERIES 2026\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGenre: SINGER/SONGWRITER \n\n\n\nWEBSITE / FACEBOOK / INSTAGRAM / TWITTER / YOUTUBE / SPOTIFY / APPLE MUSIC \n\n\n\nAcross his career\, Brett Dennen has established himself as the kind of singer-songwriter who finds inspiration by digging into the nooks and crannies of the human condition—exploring pain\, joy\, sadness\, and all points in between. If It Takes Forever (Mick Music)\, the California native’s eighth solo album and first full-length since 2021’s See the World\, is no exception. The warm\, immersive collection boasts deeply felt sentiments\, underpinned by rich acoustic guitars and Dennen’s earnest vocals\, in the vein of dusky Americana (“Golden State of Mind”)\, harmonica-driven blues (the Tom Petty-esque “Careful What You Wish For”)\, rootsy indie (“Don’t Go Talking”)\, and meditative folk-rock (highlight “Time To Wake Up”). \n\n\n\nIf It Takes Forever emerged out of a tough 2023 for Dennen\, as he was dealing with the death of his dad. “He was such a strong figure in my life that I depended on so much as both a dad and a best friend\,” he said. “And I knew immediately in order for me to deal with his death\, the best thing I could do was to make an album about it.” \n\n\n\nUnderstandably\, Dennen took his time coming up with song ideas for If It Takes Forever\, and spent the bulk of a year simply thinking about “what kind of album I was going to make and what kinds of songs were going to be on the album\,” he says. “I jotted down ideas on paper\, made little voice memos with ideas of songs\, melodies and choruses\, or sometimes even just talked into a voice recorder.”  \n\n\n\nWith these ideas as a foundation\, Dennen was well-prepared by the time he hunkered down in late 2023 to formalize his rough ideas into songs. “Making them a reality all happened very fast\,” he says. “These songs were in my head and came out when I had the guitar in my hand. I would record one\, put it away and then come back a few days or a few weeks later and listen to it: ‘Okay\, I think that’s done. That’s good enough. Move on\, move on\, move on.’” \n\n\n\nDennen naturally wrote some songs directly about his dad. But he also wanted If It Takes Forever to tackle his new reality going forward. “It was evaluating life—like\, what did this person mean to me?” he says. “What did they inspire in me? What do I think life is about now? Who’s the person I really want to be?” But he also found himself turning to broader philosophical questions. “I was also thinking about the state of life: What is life? What does it mean? What’s it all about?”  \n\n\n\nThis lent itself to lyrics full of vibrant imagery with multiple layers of meaning. Among his favorite songs is the gentle\, folksy “In the Garden\,” which was indirectly inspired by his parents and the impressive vegetable garden they tended. “I don’t necessarily think it’s a song about my dad—or a song about him speaking to my mom\, per se—but I think it’s a song about love and putting your intention into something\,” Dennen explains. “Metaphorically\, it’s about taking care of something and creating something beautiful\, but it’s also a literal place for beautiful things to grow\, and a calm place to find solace in.” \n\n\n\nAnother favorite is “Wood Canoe\,” a narrative-driven story of humble man who has a knack for building a canoe out of wood\, with lyrics speaking to the idea of metaphorically taking somebody away to a better place\, he explains. “It feels like a Cat Stevens song and has a little bit of Latin rhythm to it.” Dennen also loves “Another Day in Babylon” because of its rumbling groove—and the fact it’s very literal\, as he based the lyrics on things that happened in his own life. \n\n\n\nThe easygoing opening track\, “Chipping Away\,” meanwhile\, touches on resilience and the importance of persevering even when things might not be falling into place the way you’d like. “There’s so many things I want to do and so many things I haven’t done—and I’m the one holding myself back from doing those things\,” he explains. “But that’s just life\, I guess—and here’s an opportunity to celebrate that.” \n\n\n\nDennen recorded If It Takes Forever quickly\, “in a whirlwind five days” in Los Angeles with the musicians in his live band and another long-time collaborator serving as producer\, Jon Solo. This full-band configuration gave the album a distinct feeling of immediacy but also lends itself to depth-filled arrangements. Organ courses through the standout “Dharma Baby” while plaintive piano adds sharp melancholy to the meditative “Star Surfer.”  \n\n\n\n“We haven’t recorded an album together before now\,” he notes. “But it was easy to trust everyone and get excited about what we were creating together. We felt like a team; I’ve never had that feeling before. That’s why I think it was easy to get so much done in a short amount of time.”  \n\n\n\nIn general\, Dennen prefers recording live with a band anyway. But the bond he had formed with his bandmates across years of traveling around together on the road made the If It Takes Forever experience especially seamless—namely because everyone contributed parts and ideas in the studio during the process.“I was really impressed with everybody’s ability to help me get to a place where I was feeling good about the direction it was going\,’ he says. “It wasn’t me or the producer saying\, ‘I want you to do this. I was hoping you would do this.’ It wasn’t like ‘This is Brett’s album’—it was like\, let’s just make this music the best that the four of us can make it.” \n\n\n\nSince debuting in 2004 with a self-titled album\, Dennen has amassed a loyal fanbase thanks to a steady touring schedule\, including alongside artists like John Mayer\, Jason Mraz and G Love and Special Sauce\, as well as multiple song placements in the TV show Parenthood. Another tune\, “Comeback Kid (That’s My Dog)\,” became the theme song for the TV adaptation About A Boy. Along the way\, Dennen has also had multiple top 10 hits on the AAA radio charts\, with the keening title track of See the World\, an encouraging song about growing up and forging your own path in life\, landing at No. 4 in 2021. \n\n\n\nWith If It Takes Forever\, Dennen plans to hit the road once again\, but he possesses additional perspective on—and gratitude for—the solace provided by art and music. “To really boil it down\, this is life\,” he says. “Life is full of things that get complicated and make you busy\, and are really hard to deal with. But if you write songs about it\, and put it into art\, then it makes it a lot more relevant and meaningful and worthy of celebration.” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTICKETS\n\n\n\nVIEW CALENDAR\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDETAILS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSHOW @ 8:00 pm / DOORS @ 7:00 pm\n\n\n\nSEATED SHOW / 18+ VALID PHOTO ID REQUIRED\n\n\n\nALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL\n\n\n\nLimit of 4 tickets per purchaser\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPresented By: The Arts Campus At Willits

Born out of the rich Acadian ancestry of its members\, and created and driven by bandleader Michael Doucet’s spellbinding fiddle playing and soulful vocals\, BeauSoleil is notorious for bringing even the most staid audience to its feet. BeauSoleil’s distinctive sound derives from the distilled spirits of New Orleans jazz\, blues rock\, folk\, swamp pop\, Zydeco\, country and bluegrass\, captivating listeners from the Jazz and Heritage Festival in New Orleans\, to Carnegie Hall\, then all the way across the pond to Richard Thompson’s Meltdown Festival in England. \n\n\n\nTheir most recent album and the 25th in their 45-year career\, was titled “From Bamako to Carencro\,” alluding the cultural and migratory connection between Bamako\, in Mali\, West Africa\, and Louisiana (symbolized in name by the Lafayette\, LA suburb of Carencro)\, a connection that draws a sonic bloodline back to BeauSoleil’s roots. Since becoming the first Cajun band to win a GRAMMY with “L’amour Ou La Folie” (their Traditional Folk Album – 1998) and then a second Grammy in 2010\, “Live at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival”\, BeauSoleil has garnered many accolades\, including twelve GRAMMY nominations. They are regular guests on Garrison Keillor’s NPR show A Prairie Home Companion\, where Keillor has dubbed them as “the best Cajun band in the world\,” and their music is so integral to the Cajun culture that they have been featured on the New Orleans–based hit HBO program “Treme”. Critics unanimously agree that it is “bon temps\, every time they play\,” (New York Times). \n\n\n\nIn addition to their show\, Beausoleil avec Michael Doucet created their own Christmas performance\, “14 Cajun Christmas”. A detour from the routine path of holiday musical fare\, “14 Cajun Christmas” presents his beloved ensemble performing selections from their rich catalog alongside Bayou flavored versions of classic holiday tunes. Expect both the familiar and some surprises for a ”cool-yule” of an evening! \n\n\n\nLaissez Les Bons Temps Rouler! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLocal 7th through 12th graders enrolled inTACAW’s Youth Arts Pass program are eligible to receive two (2) free admission tickets: one (1) for them and one (1) for a guest. Now a bona fide emissary of alt rock and treasure to the indie crowd\, a lifelong calling coupled with a cosmic push of serendipitous happenstance led to his latest venture: ‘Susto Stringband’ joined by Americana vocalist Clint Roberts\, clawhammer banjoist Helena Rose\, and upright bassist Joey Brown (now Holler Choir). \n\n\n\nLightning struck as an immediate connection and artistic chemistry captured a new sound and visualization that unfolds on Susto Stringband’s debut release from New West Records\, simply titled “Susto Stringband: Volume 1.” Nine of Osborne’s ballads\, refrains and heart wrenching confessions\, now drenched in the singular Appalachian sound of Holler Choir’s verdant harmonies and stringed arrangements. Still\, steeped in the emotive punch of the traditional string band sound\, Susto Stringband presents an Arcadia like vision of pastoralism and and harmony with nature\, but with Osborne’s lyrics\, there are landmines to dodge and mountains to climb. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE LAST REVEL\n\n\n\nGenre: Folk / Country \n\n\n\nWEBSITE / FACEBOOK / INSTAGRAM / YOUTUBE / SPOTIFY \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMuch like their sorrowful\, purposeful melodies\, the members of The Last Revel contain this thick thread of self\, and of place\, when it comes to the underlying trait in the sounds and scope of their intent\, onstage and in the studio — survival mode. \n\n\n\n“Honestly\, I don’t know if we would’ve been able to do this career for as long as we have without persistence\,” says guitarist Lee Henke. “By living in a challenging place\, it’s definitely conditioned us to have a high tolerance for discomfort\, a certain toughness to push ahead.” \n\n\n\nThat sentiment of tenacity and passion lies at the heart of The Last Revel’s latest album\, Gone for Good. Produced by Trampled by Turtles lead singer Dave Simonett\, the record is a multilayered ode to the life of an artist\, life on the road\, and what it means to be a human being in uncertain times. \n\n\n\n“This is a step in our careers that feels like there’s no going back\,” says banjoist Ryan Acker. “There’s a level of commitment now that\, just a couple of years ago\, we didn’t fathom we could take on. The boat is off the shore and you can’t see land anymore — we’re in it now.” \n\n\n\nBased in Minneapolis\, Minnesota\, the Americana/indie-folk outfit harkens to the trials\, tribulations\, and triumphs of what it means to pursue your dreams in real time. The foundation of which is conjured by a deep appreciation and genuine respect for the vast landscape and sometimes-harsh realities of what it means to emerge from the Midwest. \n\n\n\n“We grew up in the Midwest and we’ve all kind of stayed in this region of the country\,” Henke notes. “This place has imprinted itself on who we are\, and that challenge of life here is part of who we are now.” \n\n\n\nAlongside Henke and Acker is fiddler Vinnie Donatelle. When the ensemble finds themselves behind the microphone\, it’s the culmination of their vocal talents that truly showcases the mission of The Last Revel — harmony. \n\n\n\n“There’s no better feeling [when we’re singing together]\,” Acker says. “And it makes you understand something primal\, these melodies and these harmonies. It’s internal and it’s really powerful to sing your heart out with the people you love and your best friends.” \n\n\n\nThe seeds for The Last Revel were initially planted when Acker and Henke met in college in Wisconsin and started jamming together. Following graduation\, the duo eventually headed for Minnesota\, crossed paths with Donatelle\, and started putting together a musical project. By 2011\, the group was formed in Minneapolis. \n\n\n\n“The name comes from the idea of saying\, ‘One last go\, one last celebration\,’” Henke recalls. “It’s treating every show like it could be the last one kind of makes it extra special each time. It’s become a mantra through all the hardships we’ve been through — it’s crazy we get to do this\, so let’s act like it might be the last one.” \n\n\n\n“It feels like a miracle\,” Acker adds. “This is a career where\, hell or high water\, this is what I’m doing. This is something we feel genuine about creating and sharing with people — there’s no other option.” \n\n\n\nEarly on in the band’s tenure\, The Last Revel was clocking in around 200 shows each year\, and did so for several years. Burnout was real\, with the act deciding to go on hiatus in 2019 to recalibrate and reenergize what it is within the group that remains steadfast. \n\n\n\n“I tried to quit music. And then\, the moment I accepted [I was done]\, I wrote five new songs the next day\,” Henke shakes his head in awe. “There’s always been a real therapeutic element to writing music for me. And it goes beyond that now\, where if I don’t write for [a while]\, I feel pent up — there’s something that needs to come out.” \n\n\n\nA couple years went by\, with Henke and Acker eventually circling back to one another. The musical chemistry and unbreakable camaraderie was still intact\, with each thinking the same thing — let’s give music another shot. To note\, Gone for Good is The Last Revel’s second album since reuniting in 2021. \n\n\n\n“We spent so much time together in our twenties and thirties where\, even as friends\, let’s just get back together and see how it feels\,” Acker says. “Let’s just record some music and release it.” \n\n\n\n“The first step was all about just reconnecting — to hell with anyone else giving a damn about the music\,” Donatelle adds. “The only important thing is playing some music together.” \n\n\n\nWhen The Last Revel released Dovetail in 2023\, the reunion album sparked wildfire\, whether it was with longtime\, loyal fans of the band or newcomers coming across the group by mere happenstance. Now back on the road on the stage\, the bandmates were happily surprised by the unexpected response by sold-out gigs wherever they toured. \n\n\n\n“It kind of took us off-guard\,” Acker says of the fan response. “And it’s become this reciprocal\, motivating thing now. People didn’t forget about us\, and many more discovered our music over COVID than we had anticipated — the music we made is continuing to reach people.” \n\n\n\n“That initial response was so powerful\,” Donatelle adds. “But\, on the other end of things\, [the music] was never about any of us individually. It’s about the way that people connected to our music and just the way the music had a life of its own outside of us.” \n\n\n\nReflecting on Gone for Good\, Acker feels a real\, tangible\, more so positive shift in what it is The Last Revel aims to do moving forward. It’s this collective realm of collaboration\, all in hopes of connectivity not only between the bandmates\, but also the audience itself night in and night out — from coast-to-coast and back around to Minnesota. \n\n\n\n“And I think that shows up more on this record than ever\,” Acker says. “We’ve finally clicked on what the band’s purpose is\, the ethos behind all of this — we’re figuring out how to be ourselves and be happy through the music.” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTICKETs\n\n\n\nVIEW CALENDAR\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDETAILS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nSHOW @ 7:00 pm / DOORS @ 6:00 pm\n\n\n\nSTANDING ROOM SHOW / 21+ (VALID PHOTO ID REQUIRED)\n\n\n\nALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL\n\n\n\nLimit of 6 tickets per purchaser\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPresented By: The Arts Campus At Willits

Created by\, and starring Robbie Schaefer and Danielle Wertz\, the cabaret-style performance traverses decades alongside songs such as A Case of You\, Hallelujah\, Big Yellow Taxi\, Suzanne\, and many more. Both Sides Now is at once a piece of the 60’s and 70’s\, and of right now — offering us a story about the messiness of being human\, of lives persistently lived at the edge of growth\, and of finding the courage to turn toward one another\, again and again. \n\n\n\nArtist Bios: \n\n\n\nRobbie Schaefer \n\n\n\nRobbie is a rabbi\, singer-songwriter and theatre/film artist. The guitarist and songwriter for the indie folk band Eddie From Ohio has several solo releases as well\, including the 2023 single Under the Sun. \n\n\n\nHe is the founder of Lamplighters\, an online community that cultivates small-batch\, relationship-driven\, inclusive Judaism. \n\n\n\nHe is also the founder of OneVoice\, an international non-profit that unites and empowers youth through music and the creative arts. The musical is now a feature film entitled Burst The Silence (Rolling Pictures)\, which is due for release on streaming platforms in 2025. \n\n\n\nHe is currently at work on a new musical\, The Blue Poppy\, an Irish-Jewish ghost story written in collaboration with Scottish playwright Grace Barnes\, and Songs From The Wilderness\, a new album of Jewish musical midrash (interpretation)\, due for release in early 2026.  \n\n\n\nAlso\, he likes olives. A lot.  \n\n\n\nDanielle Wertz \n\n\n\nDanielle is a storyteller\, collaborator\, jazz musician\, composer and arranger. Her voice—described by DownBeat Magazine as “evocative… remarkably intimate\, expressive and poignant”—has earned her an international following as a jazz artist and growing recognition across disciplines. \n\n\n\nWertz began her career deeply rooted in the jazz tradition\, gaining early acclaim as the youngest semi-finalist in the 2015 Thelonious Monk Jazz Competition and runner-up in the 2017 Ella Fitzgerald Jazz Vocal Competition. After releasing two small ensemble albums as a bandleader and a third with Denmark’s Nordkraft Big Band that critics called\, “a triumphant collection\,” Danielle has affirmed her singular voice in contemporary vocal jazz and continues to expand her presence in genre-blurring large ensemble work. \n\n\n\nAfter completing her first European tour as a bandleader in the fall\, Danielle remains an avid collaborator internationally and at home in the NYC creative music scene. She is looking forward to being the featured artist on two major interdisciplinary projects in 2026: a Harriet Steinke original work commissioned by Beth Morrison Projects\, and a crossover jazz opera composed by Ben Morris with a libretto by Gina Stevensen. \n\n\n\nAlso\, she loves chocolate. Their concerts have set new standards. \n\n\n\nWith over 2\,000 shows in 36 countries and more than 11 million albums sold\, GREGORIAN are the most successful choir in the world. \n\n\n\nIn Spring 2026\, GREGORIAN will continue with their PURE CHANTS World Tour in the USA. \n\n\n\nFrank Peterson\, the creator and producer of GREGORIAN says: “Our Pure Chants concerts bring the most popular GREGORIAN classics in an atmospheric and tranquil sound environment. Pure Chants concerts are extremely peaceful\, yet spectacular and unite the audience with the most beautiful melodies in the world.” \n\n\n\nThe idea for GREGORIAN was born when Frank Peterson visited the royal monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial in Spain in 1989. Wandering through the medieval monastery and castle complex and listening to contemporary music on his Walkman\, he found the inspiration for the sound experiment of mixing ancient Gregorian music with modern music. \n\n\n\nPeterson first realized his idea with Michael Cretu and the worldwide sound phenomenon “Enigma”. Their first album “MCMXC a.D.” was released in 1990 and quickly became a worldwide success.  \n\n\n\n“MCMXC a.D.” was number 1 in 41 different countries and went 57 times platinum and 45 times gold. It is considered as the most successful German album of all time worldwide. \n\n\n\nArtist Bios \n\n\n\nAmelia Brightman \n\n\n\nAmelia was trained from a very early age for performance at the prestigious Elmerst ballet schools and Hurtwood house. As the youngest sister of the famed soprano Sarah Brightman she was put in to contact with her producer\, Frank Peterson\, and began working for his Nemo studios as a writer at eighteen years old.  \n\n\n\nAt twenty her first co write was released with a chart placement for the Spanish artist Princessa. From there she went on to collaborating on the first written track for Gregorian titled Moment of Peace. This track went on to receive platinum awards around the world and Amelia began touring with them as the only female.  \n\n\n\nBetween yearly tours with Gregorian and co writing many\, many tracks for them\, Amelia has toured the world with Sweetbox\, Albert Hammond and Sarah Brightman as a vocalist.  \n\n\n\nShe enjoys all aspects of art and has turned that passion into as a career as a tattoo artist. She has also dabbled in stop motion animation and videography.  \n\n\n\nDan Hoadley \n\n\n\nFrom an early age Dan has sung in Choirs \, and was the youngest tenor to sing at the Royal Opera House in the chorus ( 21 years 6 months old ).  \n\n\n\nHe has always enjoyed cycling\, running\, swimming \, tennis and golf \, as well as playing the violin \, cooking and drinking fine wine . He sang in front of the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip several times \, notably meeting and shaking hands at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre \, where he performed music to accompany ” A Winter’s Tale ” in the first season there (1997)  \n\n\n\nHe has toured with the Royal Opera in Germany \, Finland and Scotland \, has sung at the Salzburg Osterfestspiele with the Berlin Philharmonic\, and performed in many Prom concerts in the Royal Albert Hall . He has sung solo roles with English National Opera \, and recorded solos for EMI \, Decca and Phillips.  \n\n\n\nHe loves working for and with Gregorian and hopes to see many new markets in the next few years.  \n\n\n\nTristan Stocks \n\n\n\nTristan Stocks started his musical life as a violinist before becoming a singer. At school\, he sang a range of rock\, pop and classical music before training at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance\, The Guildhall School of Music and Drama\, and at Dennis O’Neill’s prestigious opera studio\, The Wales International Academy of Voice.  \n\n\n\nAfter these studies\, he made his role debut at Glyndebourne Festival Opera\, became a Britten-Pears Young Artist\, and received a number of awards including the Susan Chilcott and the Grange Park Opera Scholarships.  \n\n\n\nIn addition to performing in comic and dramatic operas and operettas\, Tristan has soloed in a huge range of concerts in Europe and beyond\, performing songs from musicals and by pop artists as well as well-loved classical music. When he is not performing himself\, Tristan regularly directs and produces theatre productions for touring companies in the UK. \n\n\n\nTristan was thrilled to join Gregorian in 2019 and has loved touring with them ever since – feeling constantly refreshed and boosted by the camaraderie within the group and the incredible audiences around the world.  \n\n\n\nWhen he is not travelling\, Tristan’s other interests include woodwork\, running\, hiking\, and cycling. Born in Southern California\, Donavon spent most of his youth chasing waves\, turning pro at the age of 16. These days instead of surf competitions\, it’s concert halls that bring Frankenreiter to town\, where he entertains audiences with his unique blend of laid-back grooves\, philosophical lyrics and soulful delivery. This year\, Frankenreiter is releasing his first studio in 9 years\, out September 20\, 2024. The album\, entitled Get Outta Your Mind\, marks the 20 year anniversary of his self-titled debut album. \n\n\n\nABOUT THE SUNDAY SPINS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTHE SUNDAY SPINS is a vibrant vehicle for sharing analogue appreciation with friends in hopes of making new ones in the process. \n\n\n\nThe brainchild of California based photographer and record collector/selector\, Adam Walker\, THE SUNDAY SPINS started as a casual way to bring light through dark times through LIVE stream sessions. No plan. No agenda. Just music and connection. It was a way to bring a little light through the speakers\, for myself and for anyone who happened to tune in. \n\n\n\nOver time\, it grew— and it’s still growing. The streams turned into real-world gigs. Into trips built around crate digging\, documenting records stores\, music scenes\, and mixing it up with people who live and breathe this stuff all over the world. What never changed was the feeling. That moment when a track—wax or not—makes the hairs on your arm stand up and everything slows down for a few minutes. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTICKETS\n\n\n\nVIEW CALENDAR\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDETAILS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSHOW @ 8:00 pm / DOORS @ 7:00 pm\n\n\n\nSEATED SHOW / 18+ VALID PHOTO ID REQUIRED\n\n\n\nALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL\n\n\n\nLimit of 4 tickets per purchaser\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPresented By: The Arts Campus At Willits

This performance is the culmination of the Aspen Music Festival and School and TACAW’s first Collective Composition Workshop. \n\n\n\nAbout the Program \n\n\n\nThe Collective Composition Workshop invites students in grades 4-12 to come together for an intensive\, week-long creative process. Centered on student voice and leadership\, the workshop encourages participants to explore themes that matter to them and to express their experiences through sound. Guided by professional musicians who have honed this educational approach with young artists nationwide\, students nurture their innate creativity and build confidence as collaborators while composing an original piece of music together. \n\n\n\nSupported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts\, this year’s creative process was inspired by the America250 youth essay prompt: “What does America mean to you?” The resulting composition belongs entirely to the students and often reaches beyond what they typically encounter in traditional music lessons. This performance showcases that artists of all ages and abilities can contribute meaningfully to the future of American music. \n\n\n\nAbout the Aspen Music Festival and School \n\n\n\nWEBSITE \n\n\n\nFounded in 1949\, the Aspen Music Festival and School is regarded as one of the top classical music festivals in the United States\, noted both for its concert programming and its musical training of mostly young-adult music students. The eight-week summer season includes hundreds of classical music events: concerts by four orchestras\, recitals\, chamber music\, operas\, classes\, lectures\, and family programs. In the winter\, the AMFS presents recitals and robust music education programs for local youth and families. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRSVP\n\n\n\nVIEW CALENDAR\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDETAILS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSHOW @ 6:00 pm / DOORS @ 5:00 pm\n\n\n\nSEATED SHOW / ALL AGES (Under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian)\n\n\n\nALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL\n\n\n\nLocation: TACAW\, 400 Robinson St\, Basalt\, CO 81621\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPresented By: TACAW

The song “God Damn” is a fiery commentary\, while “Interstate Gospel Fate”takes us down the road of long distance love and untimely car trouble. “Drink this in” celebrates the organic panoply of life and “Flibbertygibbets\,” well…should we really say more? Dive into this album to celebrate\, sing\, laugh at\, and reflect on our tragic beautiful flaws. \n\n\n\nNine songs riff on the modern experience with a contemporary folk\, perspective and an indie sensibility and “new timey” in nature–acoustic guitar\, singing saw\, cornet\, bucket drums\, cheeky lyrics\, violin\, and bass. \n\n\n\nRecorded at Cool Brick Studios\, the band collaborated with a variety of local musicians to bring a full-bodied aroma to the album. Pat Fagan adds deep accents with his euphonium. Jodi Henderson lightens things up with her playful clarinet. Sweet Jessup’s show this year will be one of their best as they bring three years stylized collaboration\, jams\, and original tunes to make you shimmy shake with their gritty folk story telling and acoustic blue driven mountain rag tunes. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT SWEET JESSUP & THE DIRTY BUCKETS \n\n\n\nSweet Jessup & The Dirty Buckets have one trashy jam sound. Literally\, the percussionist plays old used buckets and thrift store treasures. Bluesy\, groovy\, folksy\, clanky\, and dancy\, Sweet Jessup draws inspiration from American root blues\, folk\, and ragtime traditions. We play all original songs that are catchy\, fun\, and upbeat. Come out to dance with us!  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT PATRICK FAGAN \n\n\n\nPatrick Fagan is based in Carbondale and performs throughout the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond\, both as a solo artist and in collaboration with other musicians. \n\n\n\nHe regularly performs as part of the Bruell Fagan Duo with Marc Bruell\, and he has played in the blues band Electric Lemon. During Oktoberfest season\, Patrick travels across Colorado with Those Austrian Guys. On her 13th album\, Hummingbird Highway\, out September 12 on Righteous Babe Records\, Williams celebrates the colors she glimpses from her vantage as a touring musician. “I was a kid from the suburbs who listened when her hippie teachers said to get out in the world\,” Williams muses. Hummingbird Highway is the latest chapter in a richly unfolding story. Drawing on her experience as a playwright\, Williams populates her latest album with nuanced characters that come alive in the space of a few minutes. \n\n\n\nOn the title track\, Williams sings from the perspective of a child speaking to her peripatetic and sometimes struggling parent. Blooming columbines\, china blue teapots\, and cinnamon bark number among the “treasures” in her life\, despite the “pirates” that she imagines populating her worldly parent’s life. “The pirates can be all sorts of things living inside and outside your head. The child\, for better or worse\, knows that there is joy\, unpredictability\, and instability on the home front. She’s rooting for the joy.” \n\n\n\nSince 2013\, Williams has been leading songwriting workshops where she teaches students to let songs find their own trajectories. While writing the breezy bossa nova “Tu Sais Le Printemps\,” (single release 7/29/25) Williams questioned why she was writing a light\, flirty song amidst many gloomy news stories. “I was having coffee with some of my fellow retreat leaders and Beth Nielsen Chapman\, telling them about my ‘frilly’ song\, and Beth said\, ‘That’s just what I want to hear right now!’ It was a nice moment to follow my own advice and let the song find its way.” \n\n\n\nWith help from Williams’ collaborators\, the other songs found their paths as well. Mainly produced by Ken Rich at Brooklyn’s Grand Street recording (with two tracks produced by Dave Chalfant in Western Massachusetts)\, the Hummingbird Highway sessions were a microcosm of the interdependence that provided inspiration from inception to full production. These songs are ecosystems that thrive on co-creation. Daisy Mayhem brings roots-rock energy to the bluegrassy “Put the Coins on His Eyes\,” while long time touring-mate and collaborator Bryn Roberts creates both the hooks and immersive sonic landscapes of every musical genre. Simpatico “studio magic” can be heard in the happy rowdiness of the Richard Thompson cover\, “I Want to See the Bright Lights Tonight\,” as well as in the contemplative “Sacred Mountain” where Williams wraps a halting melody around the narrator\, a Buddhist who struggles to reconcile inward contemplation and political action. Through gray skies\, snow pigeons\, and petitions to stem industrial pollution\, the character moves through shifting mindsets to work towards “what we see; what we breathe in time.” \n\n\n\nWilliams sees and breathes the way people connect with one another\, as chronicled in what she calls her “take on urban planning\,” What I Found in a Thousand Towns (Basic Books\, 2017). “I traveled and watched how other people created these cool things like town-wide science fairs and hilarious celebrations of potatoes and chili\, often going hand-in-hand with providing serious resources like food banks and free clinics\,” she recalls. Along the way\, she’s seen the devotion of strong unions (as in “Put the Coins On His Eyes”) and congressional reps alike. “Maryland\, Maryland” was inspired by conversations with her friend\, Rep. Jamie Raskin\, about what a new state song would include. “In the end\, my definition of a Maryland song was song about Jamie\, who is a proud\, patriotic son of the state.” As Williams continuously takes in the social landscapes of towns and cities\, she has also taken them home\, helping to start a thrift sale\, chairing a community board\, and helping to organize group sings in her New York hometown. “For someone who’s seen a lot of pavement and airports along with all the great places where I’ve played\, it’s especially nice to come home\,” she says. \n\n\n\nAs hummingbirds and folk singers fly\, they gain perspective and not just distance. She finds that wise perch on “Olive Tree\,” a single out on August 26. With production of stirring percussion and twinkling keys\, she considers everything that’s led up to our current moment. Williams observes “all of these strangers and friends” talking about world events at parties and dinner gatherings and thinks back to all the iterations of those conversations from Aristotle on. In a moving verse\, she conjures a time in 1913 when California Berkeley scientists planted an olive grove in the United States and imagined the generations who would meet in the olive trees’ shade for “over one thousand years.” When Williams promises “I’ll meet you here under an olive tree\,” we all know that both she and we will\, wherever and whenever we continue to foster olive trees and a human-scale\, deeply-rooted democratic society. \n\n\n\nLongtime listeners know that Williams and her music are always up for those kinds of conversations that glimpse the brightest colors\, woven into the larger context of time. “As I’ve gotten older\, I feel more comfortable holding a lot of different threads in my hand to create more complicated patterns. Time has given me a better ability to hold a bunch of colors and temperaments and see what happens\, where they become interesting new stories and also where I need to stop and untangle the themes and characters. It’s daunting\, and I’ve learned that\, you know\, daunting is fine\, just keep going.” \n\n\n\nABOUT RUTH THEODORE\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDistinguished british artist and ‘original folk voice’ Ruth Theodore has been steadily releasing critically acclaimed studio albums for over a decade. \n\n\n\nHaving started her career as a street busker on England’s south coast\, Ruth is now signed to Ani DiFranco’s Righteous Babe records and sharing labels\, stages and studios with iconic international artists\, as a performer\, writer and recently co-producer\, making her critically acclaimed music alongside long term collaborators; Tony and Grammy award winning producer and bassist Todd Sickafoose\, and Swiss-American virtuoso percussionist Mathias Kunzli.  \n\n\n\nRuth’s music is inspired by lived experience which makes her a folk singer in essence\, but there’s a strong sense of playful rebellion in her delivery that embodies hints of 1920s vauderville theatre\, buckets of indie punk rock attitude and the relentless lyrical energy of a beat poet. \n\n\n\nBusking and performing in bars from the age of 14 and then self releasing her first three records on DIY label River Rat Records\, Ruth has led a nomadic existence\, living between river boats\, squats\, and artist workshops in East London up until 2020 when she moved to co-run a music venue in the south of England.  Theodore’s music reflects her naturally transient personality.  \n\n\n\nOver her career Theodore has carved a unique and instantly recognizable style that has seen her described as an “Original Folk Voice” in the Guardian; “A master of the long-form” and “An Institution” in FATEA magazine. As well as inviting record deals with London based label Aveline Records and current US based label Righteous Babe Records.  \n\n\n\nRuth’s music and lyricism effortlessly pushes the boundaries of gender and genre.   \n\n\n\nTheodore is currently working on her 7th studio record and can be found touring the UK\, USA and EU both solo and with her dynamic four piece band. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTICKETS\n\n\n\nVIEW CALENDAR\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDETAILS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSHOW @ 8:00 pm / DOORS @ 7:00 pm\n\n\n\nSEATED SHOW / ALL AGES (Under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian)\n\n\n\nALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL\n\n\n\nLimit of 4 tickets per purchaser\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPresented By: The Arts Campus At Willits

One of today’s most thoughtful and prolific voices\, he has released eleven studio albums including 2019’s widely acclaimed ‘Fever Breaks’ of which NPR Music praised\, “He remains a hydrant of ideas while embodying an endless capacity for empathy and indignation\, often within a single song.” \n\n\n\nHis twelfth studio album ‘I Believe in You\, My Honeydew’ is out now. Two-plus decades into his celebrated career\, Ritter has written music that has transcended generations including luminaries such as Bob Dylan\, Joan Baez\, and Bob Weir covering his songs. \n\n\n\nThe Book of Gold Thrown Open tour is meant to encompass the whole of Ritter’s career\, versus focusing on any one studio album. \n\n\n\nIn addition to his work as a musician\, Ritter is also a national best-selling author\, having released two novels to date: 2021’s The Great Glorious Goddamn of It All and 2011’s Bright’s Passage. Released to critical attention\, Stephen King wrote in The New York Times Book Review that Bright’s Passage “shines with a compressed lyricism that recalls Ray Bradbury in his prime…This is the work of a gifted novelist.” \n\n\n\n“Josh Ritter remains at the top of his game two decades into a highlight-strewn career. He’d be forgiven for loosening his grip\, but his hand has never felt surer.” \n\n\n\n– NPR Music \n\n\n\n“Harking back to Bob Dylan\, Bruce Springsteen and maybe a little Mark Knopfler\, Mr. Ritter has always been a slinger of serious ideas and high-flown imagery.” \n\n\n\n– The New York Times \n\n\n\n“Mysterious\, melancholy\, melodic…and those are only the M’s.” \n\n\n\n– Stephen King in Entertainment Weekly \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTICKETS\n\n\n\nVIEW CALENDAR\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDETAILS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSHOW @ 8:00 pm / DOORS @ 7:00 pm\n\n\n\nSEATED SHOW / 16+ (Under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian)\n\n\n\nALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL\n\n\n\nLimit of 4 tickets per purchaser\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPresented By: The Arts Campus At Willits

The duo (Bryce Menchaca and Kellen Wall) first introduced their classic-meets-contemporary musical style through their debut track “66\,” produced by GRAMMY Award winner Nick Waterhouse (Leon Bridges\, Jon Batiste) and recorded at Los Angeles’ legendary EastWest Studios\, the same room that gave life to Pet Sounds and California Dreamin’. Momentum continued with the fan-favorite “Daisy\,” now climbing at radio (#4 at Americana and #39 at AAA). After becoming the first act to sign with Ascend Music (a division of Big Machine Label Group) in July 2025\, Marfa released “Little Miss Two Time\,” which KCRW’s Today’s Top Tunes praised as “music that ties Laurel Canyon to West Texas\,” calling their sound “a proverbial hay bale of beautiful harmonies and foot-stomping good times.” Now with “American Lonely” and “Little Lowdown\,” the duo continues to bring “Denver Americana to the masses” (Westword) as they invite listeners into their expansive sonic imagination. Recently named “Best Breakout Folk Duo” in Westword’s Best of Denver 2025 issue\, Marfa is quickly emerging as one of Americana’s most compelling new acts\, now bringing their roots-meets-rock live show on the road this fall with Southall\, The Mavericks\, and Kashus Culpepper. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT CAYDEN WEMPLE\n\n\n\nINSTAGRAM / TIKTOK / SPOTIFY / APPLE MUSIC \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCayden Wemple is a Los Angeles based Indie-Emo-Folk singer-songwriter. Born and raised in San Luis Obispo\, Wemple picked up guitar at an early age and has been enamored with the instrument ever since. His interest and dedication to songwriting came years later\, gathering musical inspiration from artists such as Bon Iver\, Bright Eyes\, and Phoebe Bridgers. He attended the University of Colorado – Denver\, where he studied songwriting and music business. During college\, Wemple played in an Emo band\, Keep Off the Grass – a project that he spent the better part of 4 years writing and playing shows for. After the band dispersed\, Wemple began writing his own songs again – this time marrying his Indie/Folk roots with his newfound appreciation for Emo music. In the Summer of 2022\, he recorded a group of singles and started posting them on TikTok\, eventually garnering attention and leading him to release his debut single “not to catch you by surprise.” Shortly after being released\, the song received editorial support from Spotify\, landing on Fresh Finds Folk. Since then\, Wemple’s music has continued to find success across streaming and social media platforms\, leading him to be discovered and signed by R&R (records) and Interlude Studios (management). Coming off the release of his recent EP (‘Roommates’)\, as well as having new collaborations with artists such as Runnner\, Shallow Alcove\, Grace Gardner\, and Khatumu out in the world – Wemple’s passion and energy for his craft is at an all-time high. With more unreleased music in the pipeline and a steady stream of live shows on the horizon\, there is much to look forward to from Cayden Wemple. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTICKETS\n\n\n\nVIEW CALENDAR\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDETAILS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSHOW @ 8:00 pm / DOORS @ 7:30 pm\n\n\n\nSTANDING ROOM SHOW / 18+ VALID PHOTO ID REQUIRED\n\n\n\nALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL\n\n\n\nLimit of 6 tickets per purchaser\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPresented By: The Arts Campus At Willits

Trained in the rigor of classical composition yet born with a Broadway-bound belt and a novelist’s eye for character\, she weaves deeply personal narratives with a rare melodic sophistication. From her early days with The Story to her solo triumphs\, Brooke has quietly carved a niche where the emotional intelligence of Joni Mitchell meets the musical wit of Stephen Sondheim\, all wrapped in a voice that aches\, sparkles\, and soars\, often within the same phrase. \n\n\n\nA true interdisciplinary artist\, Brooke has not only penned a poignant\, one-woman musical (“My Mother Has 4 Noses”)\, but she has also collaborated with luminaries like Katy Perry\, Joe Sample\, and the late Woody Guthrie\, whose unpublished lyrics she set to music with the reverence of a curator and the daring of a jazz improviser. Whether commanding a stage with nothing but a guitar and a spotlight or orchestrating a lush studio album\, Jonatha Brooke is never simply performing; she is sculpting emotion in midair\, conjuring stories that linger like the final notes of a well-loved sonata. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTICKETS\n\n\n\nVIEW CALENDAR\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDETAILS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSHOW @ 8:00 pm / DOORS @ 7:00 pm\n\n\n\nSEATED SHOW / ALL AGES (Under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian)\n\n\n\nALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL\n\n\n\nLimit of 4 tickets per purchaser\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPresented By: The Arts Campus At Willits
